REPLACEMENT

TASKS

  • Disconnect, dismantle, and prepare arms for removal.
  • Crane barge to mobilize on‐site and remove the arms and secure for transport back to harbor.
  • Assemble and paint the new 20” Chicksan Arms at our yard and prepare for transport to harbor.
  • Load new arms onto crane barge and travel to jetty location.
  • Perform repairs and modifications necessary in order to receive the new arms.
  • Lift and install the new arms and perform all reconnections as necessary, to perform startup with manufacturer’s rep.

KANON Loading Arm Lifting, Transportation, Storage, and Assembly

  • JOINT LIFTING

    To perform joint lifting operations with our 240t crane in order to unload the arms from a vessel at the harbor.

  • TRANSPORT

    To prepare for transport to our yard and store them in our secure site

  • ASSEMBLE THE ARMS

    To assemble the arms as per clients request in conjunction with manufacturers on‐site rep

  • LIFT AND TRANSPORT

    To lift and transport the arms to the client’s job site

  • JOINT PICK

    To perform a joint pick with our crane in order to install the arms

KNUCKLE BOOM TANDEM LIFT - 75TONS

  • Setup both cranes at the Grand Bahama Shipyard Ltd. Finger Pier.
  • Coordinate and perform the lifting operation to remove the knuckle section of the boom along with GBSL & Maersk personnel.
  • Once repairs are completed, to re-setup and lift the knuckle back into place and secure.
